When you live in Brisbane you see big Moreton Bay fig trees all over the place but the tiny fruit they produce is loved and eaten mostly by birds and fruit bats. I've never seen proper figs growing so I don't know for sure but it looks pretty figgy to me.

I don't know anything about figs, but your photo id beautiful. I like the light and the little hint of bokeh. I really enjoy looking at your blog every day. Thanks, Cara

This photo brings back a memory from my childhood, living in Toowoomba. We had an old fig tree in the backyard, and on hot summer's days, it was the best to sit under it and enjoy the shade and the red flesh of a freshly picked fig.
Thanks for putting it up.

Joanna - thanks for visiting and commenting and for giving me the word "bokeh". I am looking forward to re-using it.

Ausurfer - Good to get confirmation. Cheers.

You're welcome, Cara. I never knew there was a word for it until last year. Have fun.
