This is Nathan who has a spot outside MacArthur Central on Edward Street. He was fine with me fumbling around with my camera and pointing it at him while he tried to work. He's originally from Sydney but moved to Brisbane to be near his son. If you see him, buy a copy of the magazine. $5 each and he gets half the cover price. By the way I think Brisbane has the friendliest Big Issue vendors in the world.

I would have to disagree :-),I met a guy in Haninge some time ago selling the big issue. We talked for a bot, I bought a paper and took his portrait. Oh, and it was in mid-winter and very cold. Why is Elle on the cover?
Her name appears 3 times as one of the multiple choice answers in the big quiz. Here's a sample:
