A couple of years ago Brisbane re-branded itself with this green heart logo and a series of green initiatives with the goal of making Brisbane carbon-neutral by 2026. To my eye, it's a pretty clean city. Most of the time people put their rubbish in the bin...although you still get chewing gum on the pavement until the man comes along with his electric steam cart and blasts it off.

Brisbane is a very green city - in colour and environmentally. And I do own one of the 'I heart BNE' t-shirts; bought it a few years back; and still wear it today. :)
I love bne. After returning from overseas bne is clean and tidy and less crowded. Pity about the drivers.
