Back To Normal
The sand is back in South Bank and the swimming lagoons have re-opened after the flood devastation. It's looking great. We are, however, going though something of a cold snap; crystal clear blue skies with daytime highs of about 20 degrees and overnight lows of about 6.
Not a chance of getting me in that water.

It IS meant to be winter, y'know. We are getting it cold down here too, with yesterday reaching only 14. The sun is out this morning so we might reach 15 or 16 which is okay except for the wind.
We are such whingers aren't we ...
I KNOW it's just great. I like to say it's cold but really I know it's fantastically warm and gorgeous. I'm just being smug.
You're just rubbing it in now. We're in the depths of summer here in the UK and it got to around 18C today..
It's exactly the same here in Perth Cara, crisp blue skies and 22C here today, just crazy in middle of winter.
Really beautiful sandy beach. Should I worry whether everything is set right. Floods, I watched in the media. It must have been terrifying. Immediately I bathed. Nice picture and blog! Greetings from the other side of the Earth.
Yes !!!
:-)
Great place to stay after work...

Such beautiful lighting in that photo! Melbourne is trapped in a bout of chill winds and drizzle! We are lucky if we get a top of 15C - and then only briefly early afternoon!
Beautiful scenery. We would call this summer here in Germany.
