It's funny - where I grew up in London, if you looked out of the window and saw this sky you'd be grabbing a coat but at this time of year in Brisbane, a break in the rain often means the humidity rises, the cicadas hiss louder and things get a little bit sticky.

Sure looks like a good place to stand around looking at the view.

What a beautiful sky and a great view. Lucky you to capture this.
Oh yes, quite a different climate. Awesome view and great cloudy sky.
Ah! I know this place well Cara. Great picture, and lovely sky. Good to get a break in the rain, eh?
Fabulous view from up there. Hope you're coping okay with the rain.
Beautiful sky view!
My Skywatch. Have a nice weekend!
I lOVE this shot! It's terrific. I especially like how you captured the skywatchers in action!
Say, did you happen to see a circle of people up there when you took this shot (which I can only assume was on Australia Day; as it was the only day that cleared up enough for us Brisbanites to venture out)?
If you did, very cool! A few of my friends were there gathering energy and spreading it... pity I couldn't make it. :(
What a great shot of life and contrasts. Nicely composed.
Excellent photo.
Regards and best wishes
