Speigeltent in King George Square
King George Square doesn't have too many redeeming features these days since the unveiling of the giant concrete slab. As part of the Brisbane Festival, this beautiful Speigeltent is currently sitting in the middle of it at the moment making it look infinitely better. Inside there is a plenty of comedy, cabaret and music. Outside, you can enjoy a beer in the beer garden (I'll show you that tomorrow).
See what's on at the Speigeltent here.

I love Spiegeltents. Have been to the one they have at the Sydney Festival and one at the Adelaide Fringe. This looks like a different one again. They are so beautiful inside.
Yep, MUCH more beautiful inside than outside, now that King George Square is completely ugly and barren.
I think the tent is originally from Belgium, we have them here too and I like the shape of it and the magical inside. Spiegel is dutch for mirror.
Looks and sounds like a visit there would be fantastic Cara. Have heard about some of the Brisbane Festival events; would love to have been able to go along.
Interesting seeing another one outside the Sydney festival.
