Prickly Pears
Well I hope you like plants because you're not getting anything else from me at the moment. I'm still all loved-up from my Bunya Mountains camping experience, frolicking in the natural world and being at one with nature and all that. These cacti are about 2 metres tall. I love the way they are lit from behind. If you look closely you can see a spider web in the bottom right of the picture providing a bit of contrast.

Yes... lovely plant, but don't ever pick up the fruit without tongs or you'll be forever plucking the hair-like prickles out of your fingers, between your fingers and our of your hands for the next 3-4 days with a microscope helping you locate them!
Been there - done that in Melbourne! Not a fun time for me.
Very nice --I like the back-lighting, very effective.
