You're looking at a piece of art called "Anthill" by Russell L Solomon who lives here in Brisbane. He was in Western Australia and came across an anthill with a slice taken out of it so he went and had a look and he could see all the tunnels and inner workings of it... He came up with this. It's little wire ant sculptures threaded into a painted canvas.
And it's mine, now!

That's quite clever and I'm glad that it is a piece of art and not ants taking over the world...but I'm not sure why anyone would make an ant an art form...;-)
