I was surprised this lovely damselfly stood still for me while I fussed around with my camera getting it into the right mode and then angling it and pointing it up close. It was as cool as a cucumber. Definitely not a damsel in distress hawhaw
I'm going to look a bit silly if someone points out that this is infact a dragonfly.

I don't have a clue what it is, but I've never heard of an insect damsel...I've heard of other kinds, though.

They always look so primitive to me, almost prehistoric.
You could call this whatever you liked as I wouldn't know the correct name anyway. I'm clueless about buggy type critters. It's a really cute photo of the damsel-dragonfly thingy :)
