Did I mention about the Gallery of Modern Art? I can't plug it enough, it's brilliant. And they let you take photos upstairs. That was where I came across this huge and lovely lady by sculptor Ron Mueck who looks a bit like she's got something on her mind. At least she had lots of bedside visitors.
I'm off for a few days. Posting will (hopefully) continue while I'm away.

This is very funny . . . title and all.
Excellent work, Cara. Wonderfully composed ... I am glad that some institutions allow photography.
Yeah, amazing they allow photography. This giant lady is scaring me, haha!
Brilliant shot! Really love it!
Happy New Year!
I once saw an exhibit of that artist's work (Ron Mueck) at a gallery when we were on holiday in Washington, DC. Thank for taking us along to see this with you,

Ron Mueck - thanks for that. I went and looked some more of his work up it's really beautiful.
On first impression seems strange, but makes you think about the relative qualities of everything. Don't know whether that was the intention of the artist though.
great picture; nice blog
I went to see this in 2010... what a great exhibition; so great I encouraged my Mum and Dad to go and see it and they were also blown away at the size of some of the people he had sitting around looking at us...
