The weather in Brisbane has been pretty exciting these past couple of days with storms rolling in and dumping hail the size of golf balls in some areas around Brisbane. While I was at work on Wednesday, I happened to be recording the traffic helicopter's camera footage as it was passing by a wild looking storm cell in North Brisbane. I've taken a screen grab from it... pretty cool, huh?
Check out other skies around the world this week at Skywatch Friday and have a fab weekend!

pretty cool, indeed.
Way cool!
Wow! That is some kind of storm cell! I'm awestruck by the power of it.
Have a great weekend.
That is an amazing cell. Guess there is no drought in brisbane!
Dramatic.
Impressive.
Cara... The weather around the world is putting on a very impressive show for us humans. It keeps on displaying new designs. So keep your camera handy at all times.
I sat in a fully loaded plane ready to take off, for three hours on the tarmac at the gate, going no-where during said tropical thunderstorm. The sky was green out one side of the plane. At one stage, the turbulence was such that it felt like we were actually flying! Got into Melbourne only three hours late! Probably better to have been in the plane on the ground than in the air.
