It's a bit strange when you slice open a normal looking watermelon to find it all orange inside but here we are, folks: Champagne Watermelon.... sweet, refreshing and deeeelicious! Especially after a swim.

That's different, does it taste the same as the pink ones.
It could be that this type are particularly sweet and crunchy or it could just be that I had a good one. Other than that it's about the same. I'll have to look out for another one.

We call these "yeller meat watermelons" in Mississippi, where I'm from originally. You're so right--deeeelicious!
