Sinking Like A Stone

The sunset on Tuesday evening in Brizzie was a cracker. I had to work fast, though - the sky was changing by the second. By the time I put my camera back in its case there was hardly any orange left - just muted purples and dusky pinks.

Check out other skies around the world at Skywatch Friday.

Wonderful evening shot! I particularly like the sunset reflections on the row of cars, subtle and very, very nice.

Gorgeous sunset! You are so right - one minute they are so colourful and vibrant and the next minute the beauty is all gone - until the next day :)
Have a blessed weekend!

You have framed your pink sky nicely. My sky is pink too, though not as dramtic as yours.

I was in brisbane in January, near to the Treasury, a man was playing steel drums. He stopped playin when I approached. i asked if I could take his photo, he said no. Do you see him sometimes?

Thanks for your comments. Ann, I know the man you mean. You've saved me a rejection - he was on my list of people to photograph!
