My extensive research (5 mins on Google) tells me that this is a Pale Headed Rosella. Please let me know if I am wrong!
This one was spotted scoffing flowers in Grange in the northern suburbs a couple of weeks ago.

Great capture! It's a beauty.
Sharon is right, it is a beauty. I can claim no expertise in the naming of parrots, but having looked on wikipedia I think you may well be right.
Oddly we have a parakeet flying wild only a few hundred feet from where I write this here in Yorkshire. I have seen it several times, did not believe it at first.
What a pretty bird. I love the pale colors, and and his obvious relish in eating those flowers. You are fortunate to see so many beautiful and colorful birds there.
