April Theme Day: Red

It's the first of the month which means it's Theme Day for City Daily Photo bloggers. This month's theme is Red.

Burnett Lane in the city is due for a refurb. I did a little 3-part series on it a few weeks back showing how it is now (click on the Burnett Lane label below to see). I hope they don't touch these pipes - I think they are quite a feature.

Lovely. Like the way you've framed it.

Big red book is a recent rebinding of one of the old books which go back to the early 1900s. We actually have an inhouse bookbinder, can't be too many of them still around. Keep meaning to bring the camera in and take some photos of the old machinery down in the basement.

That certainly is an eye catching sight, and very red. I also hope they'll survive the refurbishment
