On The Inside The Sun Still Shines...

This is looking up at the sky from inside the tropical dome at the Botanical Gardens in Mt Coot-tha. You can be on the outside looking in here.

Pop quiz: The title of today's post is the first line of the chorus from the theme tune of which 1970s and 1980s Australian drama?

For more views and reviews of the sky throughout the blogosphere, visit Skywatch Friday.

No idea but try Neighbours or Home & Away ...

Love the geometry involved in this shot, Cara. and the graduated blue of the sky.

Got to be Prisoner Cell Block H. Oh yes we had that in the UK about 10 years later. It was a cult TV Show. As for the image, superb. Whichever way you hold the screen it has the same depth.

Yes, it was Prisoner. The prisoners on that drama series never had a view such as this though. Very good skywatch.

Actually, this was the space ship that landed on Mt Coot-tha the other day. The Aliens did some testing on me but I will leave that for another time!

Great pic Cara!

Congratulations to Abronymous, Babooshka, J Bar and Annie, you all win today's special prize: kudos... and a conspiritory wink from a big redheaded lady in dungarees operating a trouser press.

MK - I had to look him up as I hadn't heard of him - fascinating stuff. I'm sure the creators of our dome would have been influenced by him.

Thanks to all for visting and commenting.

Tim - I just thought you looked like that normally

Seeing the dome makes me realize it's been far too long since I visited the Mt Coot-tha gardens.
