I don't like to dwell too much on the down side to my little family's emigration to Brisbane from London back in 2005. So many positive things have come out of it but... I really miss my mum!

And she would be really missing you and your family, too. I have 2 children - my daughter, son-in-law and little granddaughter live in Berlin, and my son in Vancouver, so I can certainly empathise with how your Mum would be feeling on Mother's Day without you. I hope you and your Mum were spoiled today, even if you ARE both on opposite ends of the earth. I'm so grateful someone invented Skype in my lifetime!
