Quenching the Big Thirst
These past few days have seen South-East Queensland get big, fat, rainfalls. Checking the Bureau of Meteorology Radar Website has become something of an obsession with Brisbanites... so much so that they cross live to it during the evening news. Gardens have sprung back to life, creek beds that were crisp and dry last week now gurgle and gush... and farms to the west have been given a life line with some of the biggest falls in years.
