Time Capsule

This is the last garden-frolick picture for the time-being. Yesterday we heard that the dams had reached the magic 50% mark and that the garden watering ban has been lifted. We can water our gardens 3 times a week which is a bit of a luxury.
This shiny metallic thing has been hanging off one of my plants for a few weeks now. I think it's some sort of a cocoon...

Yay! We've finally reached the 50% mark. Such great news!

Oooh and I love those little mushies below. Sweet photo! :)

Ah, water water...good to hear! Gosh, I hope everyone doesn't go throwing it about with abandon on their gardens and wasting it after all this time of saving!
We used to call that a chrysalis...from whence a butterfly emerges?

I wonder if there is a way of knowing what type of butterfly is going to emerge from a particular chrysalis? Hmmm I'll ask around.

The funny thing with this whole watering business is that they won't let you water your garden until it rains...when you don't need to water your garden.
