Great Big B.U.M.S.
I went along to another Brisbane Ukelele Musicians Society (B.U.M.S.) jam at the Coorpooroo Bowls Club last night. It was an even bigger turnout than last month with an open mic section and songs for everyone to play and sing along to.
As we strummed and sang into the night upstairs, the "Bingo Bitches" punk-inspired bingo game downstairs rattled off numbers of their own.
Ace!

Must have been a fun event. One of my flickr pals plays the Ukulele and he is really good.

What a great night!
Uke really seem to be popular at the moment. What a mixed bunch.

Looks like a very fun time and lots of happy musicians! I heard a high school Ukelele group from British Columbia, Canada while I was down at the Rotary International convention in New Orleans last week. They were excellent and lots of fun!
It must be very funny...
Have a nice day,
Pierre
I hopped over here from SWF but I had to read this. Wonderful picture. We lead a Uke group in our little town her in western Montana. Uke ON!
Nice to see so many happy people ... and with both groups, a sense of humour.
