Uni Days
Busy corridors surround the University of Queensland Great Court. Visiting there almost made me want to be a student again. Hanging out on the grass in the shade... drinking freshly blended ice cold juices, eating at cafes and chatting.
Actually it seemed like it was a lot more civilised than my Uni days but we won't go into that.

A superb image!

It's a great place to take pictures.
Did you hear the music from "Chariots of Fire"? :-)
Love the light and shade in this pic!
and even more than mine...
the BIG difference I note every time I am there is that there are students at lunch time all over the grass with computers in their laps.
I studied Maths...Pure, Applied and Stats, and we didn't even use a computer when I was there! Not a laptop , not a pc, nor even a larger system.
When I went to work after I graduated, we had to punch cards and send off programs to run at a computer in Canberra overnight. They would come back next morning, and often it was "Oh bother, I made a mistake there...have to send it back again to run tonight".
Ah, those were the days.
Not.
But it is a great place. Especially the sandstone buildings.
Lol! I looked at it and wondered how many wedding photos have been taken there in the past! I know a few already!
