Don't Mind Me

This is "Lucretia" by Giacomo Ginotti (1837-97) and is positioned in the back lobby of the Queensland Art Gallery. It's easy to walk past it but if you take time to look, she's not in a happy place.

She's been threatening to do it for so long, I don't think she's serious.

I marvel at how they can chip out a bit of stone and find things like this inside. Nice pic too!
