These kangaroos sculpted using scrap metal are called "City Roos" by Christopher Trotter. There are a few of them lounging around the city. Two of them were recently hopped off (temporarily) to be part of the Australia exhibit at World Expo 2010 in Shanghai.
poor fellow looks like he needs one of those woolly jumpers that have been keeping the other sculptures warm around town!
ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention that, Annie - they did make them! I noticed them as I was going past on the bus and mentally started about doing a post with "jumpers on jumpers" or something along those lines... anyway the next time I went past they were gone. I think they were only around for June.
