This is one corner inside the shop BoxVintage from Thursday. It's a kitsch bonanza! I'm not sure what those wooden figures are all about but they would be a talking point on anyone's mantelpiece.I'm off for a few days camping in Queensland's glorious Lamington area - back next week! Posting will hopefully continue in my absence.
Perhaps not the best display I have seen, but colorful, interesting and fun!

I think the wooden figures may be carved from coconuts?
ReplyDeleteThat kind of 'object d'art' is a product of the 60's and 70's- from memory - quite popular here then, along with wooden salad bowls and salad servers.
