
This is the view looking south west from the William Jolly Bridge through the balustrades. I grew up looking at a David Hockney print on my parents' bedroom wall of a couple in a room that had a balcony with balustrades. It was called
Mr and Mrs Clarke and Percy. I could never decide which was more significant: the shapes of the concrete or gaps in between.
That's the Merivale train bridge from Friday's post. I should have got my big head out of the shot but I was too busy admiring the view.
