Windmill Sunburst
The windmill at Oxley Creek Common forms part of the Rocklea Air Quality Monitoring Station. Sensors on the roof measure wind, solar radiation, temperature, humidity and rainfall.
That IS a lovely photo. I loved it when they had the windmill outside the State Library last year as part of one of their exhibitions/themes. It looked spectacular from the upper floors of GoMA, and very Australian, reminding me of growing up in the bush. Wish it could have stayed there permanently.
Cara, ANY of your photographs would make stunning postcards - you're in the wrong biz.
