The outlook isn't so good for Brisbane residents. Those of us who live near the river are expecting the rising floodwaters to peak tomorrow so it's time for a lot of us to leave for higher ground (me included!).
Naturally I'll be keeping my camera with me so stay tuned!
Cara, I hope that there will be no damage on your house and that you can return soon.
ReplyDeleteAnd my thoughts and good wishes are for Queensland and an end of this floodding.
It's unbelievable to see this mass of water in the streets.
And I looked for places in Bundaberg where we stayed some time.
take care!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Cara, if you need a spare hand when it's all done please give us a hoy.

Watching it on TV - crazy! Good luck...
ReplyDeleteCara wishing you and your friends and neighbours and indeed the wider Brisbane community all the best.
ReplyDeleteNever been to Oz but my best friend at school was from outside Melbourne and I have always loved the spirit of any Australian I have met. Heard a young woman interviewed on BBC in Brisbane just now and I loved her style "nothing she could do except have a beer and see what mother nature has in store"
all the best - keep safe
ReplyDeleteYou have made a strong documentary by showing us these images!!
