Hi A.M. Yes Woolloongabba is about 2 or 3 kms from here. The park runs along the river which is just to the left of this shot through the mangroves.
Love those trees. Wish more big avenues of trees had been planted around Brisbane

The trees are Moreton Bay Fig trees. They are gigantic with big gnarly roots. Home to a cacophony of fruit bats in the evenings.
