Electric North Quay

Since I started this blog this I have been out at night with a camera twice so I'm in need of some practice. This is my first attempt at a "Brisbane by night" shot with the camera balanced on the balustrade of the William Jolly Bridge. Must invest in a tripod...
It's a bit garish!

Back to the drawing board...

  1. Don't put yourself down. This is very nice...a tripod would help with the sharpness and let you take a longer exposure...you could use a remote or the timer...

But I like the "sparkliness" of this shot.

  4. Hi Cara, I like your photo taken at night. It's certainly an art though. Had a go at swirling seagulls the other night (there were fireworks and the poor birds were going loopy). Came out with 5 black pictures - oh well. Onward!

Greetings from Brighton and London when I next visit :)
